Our mind is like a mind jar that needs to learn to pause before responding

From Séphora

When I'm able to tap into my own practice and pause before reacting quickly I actually become more supportive to my students.

Director's note

In this meditation video, we can see a mind jar, a jar filled with "water" and glitters. This tools is used with children to explain how when we get mind, our mind is like that when we shake that mind jar. They are all over the place. But when we are able to calm down, those angry thoughts will start to settle down. The swirling glitter is a nice way to put an image of how we can act and respond instead of reacting.
