Ziad Fahed has a Doctorate in Theology. He is Director of University Mission Office & Associate Professor at Notre Dame University-Louaize, Lebanon. His main research interests are religions and politics, Inter- religious dialogue and pluralism, the role of the Church during the war in Lebanon, the theology of the mission, and the contribution of the Church in building the Lebanese political system.
He is a board member for World Vision (Lebanon), and also a member of the American Academy of Religion, the International Association of Sociology of Religion, the International Society for the Sociology of Religion and the Justice and Charity Movement, whose main mission is to study the social doctrine of the Church in the Middle East, as well as several NGOs working on sectarianism.
He is the founder and president of the DLR (Dialogue pour la vie et de la réconciliation) a NGO that works in interfaith dialogues. This is a project that respond to the need of the population after the explosion.
