When we rediscover our shared humanity we will find bridges to bring us together.
Video Interview Transcript
So often in conflict situations where are divided into two camps, there's us and them, the enemy. How do you get out of that "Us and Them" and of rediscover this shared humanity? And we can discover some of that shared humanity when we remember that we're perhaps a father and therefore we share some shared humanity with a Palestinian father, when we're an Israeli father. There's some shared common ground there as fathers, or us as children. What are the building blocks of my identity of your identity. When we talk about that, when we share those things even when we're in different camps in a conflict situation, we will inevitably find bridges, find things that bring us together.
