I was a Fatah activist. I was a prisoner for four years. I was born in '72, 2001. That was the first time that Israel succeed or Israelis succeed to show me an Israeli crying. I grow up with this belief that Jews has no tears. They don't have feelings. We grow up thinking and experiencing that Israelis are just a terrible people who came and occupied our land. And suddenly you see them as victims and you see them as partners. It doesn't fit. It doesn't register. It's against the system. And I was totally transformed because if these people can be able to understand my rights and my humanity, so everyone can.
