Presentation
Assaad was a member of the Kataeb party and then the Lebanese Forces (LF) as vice chief of intelligence. After the war, in 2000 he wrote a public letter of apology for the things he had committed during the war. He is a member of the international NGO Initiatives of Change, the coordinator of the gathering of NGOs Wahdatouna Khallasouna and FFP’s vice president.
