I think to be a human being is to be nonviolent. So it actually goes beyond my own religious tradition or all the religious traditions which I argue are supposed to be about nonviolence. But fundamentally, we were created to be nonviolent by the Creator. And the baby comes into the world vulnerable, needy and nonviolent. And we hit the baby, and then give it toy guns and train it to be violent. And after thousands of years of that you know, here we are thinking violence is normal. I'm suggesting violence is inhuman.
